The President has signed a decree that dissolves five advisory bodies within the Office of the President and establishes a new Council focused on business support.
This was announced on the official website of the Office of the President.
"To ensure the constitutional right to entrepreneurial activity and to enhance the development of Ukraine's investment potential, … I decree to create a Council for Business Support as an advisory body to the President of Ukraine," – states the decree by Zelensky.
The key tasks of the new body are:
- analyzing the effectiveness of state policy in the field of entrepreneurship, identifying problems, and preparing proposals for their resolution;
- developing measures to improve conditions for conducting business, stimulating investment and innovation, and protecting property rights;
- processing legislative initiatives related to entrepreneurship and investment, and improving Ukraine's legislation in these areas;
- promoting cooperation between government bodies, local authorities, and entrepreneurs to effectively address business-related challenges.
The head of the Council is Andriy Yermak, with Yulia Svyrydenko as his deputy.
More than 70 entrepreneurs are part of the council, including Oleg Gorokhovsky, Maxim Timchenko, and Serhiy Tihipko. A full list can be found on the Office of the President's website.
