On June 11, the Ukrainian government approved a new resolution allowing the use of private aircraft within the air defense system.

Details: For the first time, a legal mechanism has been established for the involvement of private aircraft in the air defense system.

Specifically, the temporary registration process has been simplified, and the timeframe has been reduced to 10 days. Previously, such registration took between 2 to 6 months for state aviation vessels.

Quote from Rustem Umerov: "Until today, there were no legal grounds for involving private aircraft in air defense tasks, despite the fact that aware citizens have long offered their equipment to assist in repelling enemy air strikes. This step will enhance the capabilities of air defense in the face of the increasing use of enemy strike drones."
