Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced new sanctions against Dmitry Punin, the owner of the Russian casino Pin-Up, and related companies.
These sanctions are detailed in the president's decree.
The restrictions target the casino's founder, Russian citizen Dmitry Punin, as well as other Russian nationals, Ivan Bannikov and Alexander Matyashov, and companies like UKR GAME TECHNOLOGIES, TRANITADEVELOPMENT, and TURBO.UA, which are linked to Pin-Up.
In January, agents from the State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) arrested Igor Zotok, who was associated with the online casino brand PIN-UP and considered a nominal owner by law enforcement officials.
According to DBR data, the actual owners of the business operating under the PIN-UP brand are Russian citizens.
The investigation revealed that Zotok lacked legal sources to contribute 30 million UAH to the authorized capital of the licensed entity.
As per YouControl, he is a founder and beneficiary of LLC "Ukr Game Technologies" and LLC "FC "Unified Space". The latter company managed payments in the "Diia" application but was recently replaced by the state-owned "Ukrgasbank".
