Everyone has their voice, yet our hearts beat as one. Today, Ukraine marks its inaugural Day of Interethnic Harmony and Cultural Diversity – a celebration of unity, mutual respect, and gratitude to all who daily contribute to our nation.

In a time when the enemy seeks to divide us based on language, religion, or ethnicity, we showcase an example of solidarity, strength, and mutual support.

We are a multiethnic country where each ethnic community is an integral part of the Ukrainian nation. Traditions, languages, arts, songs, embroidery, and histories of various peoples are woven into a single tapestry called Ukraine.

“Cultural diversity is not about differences, but about the strength we gain from them. In this war, we have proven that we cannot be broken because we are united by a common love for freedom and Ukraine,” said Minister of Youth and Sports Matviy Bidny.

This day is about the dignity of every community and our joint struggle. It is another step towards EU integration, where respect for minority rights and cultural identity are fundamental principles.

“Unity in diversity” is not a slogan, but a daily reality!
