The Office of the President of South Africa has confirmed that Zelensky will be visiting the country on April 24.

According to Eyewitness News, the agenda for Zelensky's visit to Pretoria has not yet been disclosed, but it is expected that he will engage in discussions with President Cyril Ramaphosa regarding the war in Ukraine.

"Ramaphosa leads the African Peace Initiative, a mission involving several African heads of state aimed at achieving a peaceful resolution between the two countries," the publication reports.

Meanwhile, Ukraine's First Deputy Prime Minister Julia Svyrydenko has already arrived in South Africa for a visit on April 23-24, focusing on fostering business partnerships and discussing trade relations.

As reported by "Interfax-Ukraine," the presidential aircraft Airbus A319 Corporate Jet departed from Rzeszów on Wednesday morning with a delay, landing at 16:18 in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), likely for refueling, and resumed its flight towards South Africa at 18:21.
