Arrest of Criminals for Brutal Assault on Teenager

Three individuals were arrested in the Kyiv region for their brutal treatment of a 16-year-old boy.

The assailants recorded their actions on a mobile phone. The teenager suffered physical injuries and significant psychological distress.

The incident was reported by the victim's brother, according to the police in Boryspil.

During operational activities, law enforcement determined the attackers' location within an hour. The suspects were found to be a 29-year-old man and two 26-year-old men from the Malovishchanska community.

"Searches were conducted at the suspects' homes and at the crime scene, resulting in the seizure of tools used in the crime and other evidence documented by forensic specialists," said the senior communications inspector.

All three were detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. The court imposed a preventive measure of detention without the right to bail for 60 days.

Investigators informed the men of their suspicion under part 2 of Article 127 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – torture committed by a group of individuals by prior agreement.

The court set a preventive measure of detention for 60 days without the right to bail. They face up to 10 years in prison for their actions.

Previously, we reported several other cases of violence against teenagers. In Poltava region, four minors bullied a 10-year-old boy, recording the incident and posting it on social media.

In Truskavets, a group of teenagers assaulted an 18-year-old boy with disabilities, filming their attack and sharing it on social media.

Additionally, the Lviv police opened a criminal case against a 15-year-old girl who brutally beat her 16-year-old friend.
