The Estonian Minister of Defense, Hanno Pevkur, summarized the outcomes of his two-day visit to Kyiv.

This information was reported by ERR, as stated by "European Truth".

During the visit, the minister focused on expanding collaboration in defense and providing military assistance to Ukraine.

He was accompanied by representatives from over 30 Estonian defense industry companies.

At a special forum, they established connections with nearly 90 Ukrainian companies in the defense sector and learned about each other's products.

"The strength of the Estonian defense industry lies in unmanned aerial vehicles and intelligence technologies. However, we should not limit ourselves to these areas and look for opportunities to produce heavy weapons and ammunition. We certainly have much to learn from Ukrainians," Pevkur emphasized.

He further noted that closer cooperation between the defense industries of both countries enhances the security of Estonia and Ukraine.

Recently, Ukraine provided a list of military equipment worth 100 million euros, which Estonia plans to procure swiftly from its domestic defense industry.

At the end of February, Estonia's Prime Minister, Kristen Michal, announced the transfer of a new military aid package to Ukraine.
