Funding for New White House Ballroom: Donor List Released

The White House has released a list of donors contributing millions to the construction of a new ballroom. According to CNN, companies such as Apple, Amazon, Lockheed Martin, Microsoft, Google, Coinbase, Comcast, and Meta are included among the contributors.
This is just a fraction of the firms that have made donations towards the ballroom project proposed by President Donald Trump, which will cover approximately 8,300 square meters.
Additional donors include Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, co-founders of the cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, along with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and the Adelson family. In 2018, Trump awarded Miriam Adelson, a prominent Republican donor, the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Trump has repeatedly stated that the ballroom's construction is funded privately—by himself and donors—and will not cost taxpayers a dime.
On Wednesday, Trump discussed his plans for the ballroom, stating that it is expected to cost "around $300 million." Previously, the administration estimated the project at $200 million.
The Trump administration has also acknowledged that work began at the White House earlier this week aimed at completely demolishing the east wing to make way for the new ballroom.
