Increasing Threats: Russian Drones Over Poland

The head of the Bureau of International Relations in Poland, Marcin Przydacz, reported new findings regarding Russian drones that crossed the republic's border two days ago. The incidents have increased to 21.
This was reported by The Guardian.
In an interview with Radio Zet, Przydacz emphasized that not all of the mentioned drones have been located yet. As of last night, Poland's Ministry of the Interior confirmed the detection of 17 UAVs.
Przydacz also expressed concern over a Russian disinformation campaign aimed at convincing people that the drones were Ukrainian. He stressed that Polish authorities have clearly established that the drones were Russian and launched from Russian territory.
As previously reported, Polish military forces shot down drones that violated Polish airspace on the night of September 10. Initially, it was stated that a total of 19 drones entered Polish airspace that night. Three or four were shot down by Polish F-16s and Dutch F-35s.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that NATO allies are facing a "major provocation" from Moscow.
U.S. President Donald Trump commented on the incident, suggesting that Russia's violation of Polish airspace might have been an accident. However, Tusk and Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski countered the U.S. president, asserting that this attack by Russian drones was intentional.
