The Polish Armed Forces expressed serious concern over recent actions by Russia against Ukraine, which pose a threat to their national security, and reported the downing of several drones that intruded into their airspace.

This information was published on the official page of the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces on social media platform X.

«Today's attack by the Russian Federation on Ukrainian territory has resulted in an unprecedented violation of Polish airspace by drones. This is an act of aggression that poses a real threat to our citizens», - stated the Polish Armed Forces.

Following the order of the Operational Commander of the Polish Armed Forces, defensive procedures were promptly initiated, as reported by military officials.

«Polish and allied forces monitored several objects using radar, and considering those that could pose a threat, the Operational Commander ordered their neutralization. Some of the drones that invaded our airspace were shot down. Search and identification of possible crash sites of these objects are ongoing», - the statement reads.
