Polish border guards announced the discovery of debris from an unidentified flying object in a village near the border with Belarus.

«Today (September 7 – ed.), by 10 PM, the duty officer of the Terespol police received a report from the Border Guard about the discovery of debris from an unidentified flying object near the Terespol border crossing in Polatychy,» the local police stated on Facebook.
The authorities added that they are securing the area of the discovery.
«No injuries were reported as a result of the incident,» the police added.
It is noted that in August, a drone crashed in a cornfield in eastern Poland, damaging crops and shattering windows in nearby houses. The prosecutor investigating the incident stated that it likely entered Poland from Belarus, a Russian ally. Drones have also fallen in Romania and the Baltic states.
