A tragic event has occurred in Saudi Arabia with the passing of Prince Al-Waleed bin Khaled bin Talal Al Saud, who had been in a coma for 20 years following a car accident.

On Saturday, July 19, his father, Prince Khaled bin Talal Al Saud, announced that his son had died in a medical facility in Saudi Arabia.

At the time of his passing, the prince was 36 years old.

In 2005, 15-year-old Al-Waleed bin Khaled was involved in a car accident in the UK, where he was studying at a military college. He suffered a severe traumatic brain injury and fell into a coma.

His father did not consent to disconnecting him from life support and moved him to a specialized medical institution.

Although the prince never regained consciousness over the years, his father frequently shared videos showing slight physical reactions, such as lifting hands and fingers.
