The situation in South Korea is increasingly alarming, with the death toll from floods and landslides rising to at least ten, while nine individuals are reported missing.

According to the Korean government, the southern and southwestern regions are suffering the most, having recorded nearly 800 millimeters of rainfall over just four days.
It is noted that there have been almost 2,000 incidents of road and highway flooding, landslides, and the destruction of public infrastructure, in addition to over 2,200 cases of damage to private property, including buildings and agricultural lands.
As of Sunday morning, approximately 13,000 people have been evacuated from dangerous areas to larger cities and towns.
Search and rescue operations are ongoing in the affected regions, with authorities warning that casualty figures may change.
Forecasters predict that heavy rains will shift north towards the capital region of Seoul and the neighboring province of Gangwon.
In the southern and western parts of South Korea, at least four people have died due to natural disasters triggered by the heavy rains, and over 7,000 residents are seeking temporary shelter.
