At least 43 individuals have lost their lives due to severe flooding in Kerr County, Texas, with 27 children currently reported missing.

Leita reported that among the deceased are 28 adults and 15 children. He added that five children and 12 adults have yet to be identified.

Mayor Rice noted that 27 children from Camp Mystic are still unaccounted for.
