The Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that Tehran will not engage in military actions if Israel halts its attacks.
"As Iran has repeatedly stated, Israel has initiated the conflict against Iran, not the other way around. Currently, there is no "agreement" for a ceasefire or military operations" - emphasized Araghchi.
He added that if Israel stops its "illegal aggression" against Iran "by 4 AM Tehran time, we do not intend to continue our response after that".
"A final decision on halting our military operations will be made later" - Araghchi noted.
Later, he expressed gratitude to Iran's armed forces and stated that military actions against Israel "lasted until the very last moment", hinting that hostilities may have concluded.
Previously, Trump announced a potential ceasefire between Israel and Iran, which he hopes will become permanent.
According to media reports, Qatar helped broker the ceasefire with the consent of both Israel and Iran.
