The Security Service of Ukraine, along with other defense forces, targeted an oil refinery in the Russian Republic of Komi. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
The strike took place on February 12, 2026, as part of systematic efforts to diminish the military-economic potential of the Russian aggressor.
The distance from the Ukrainian border to the affected site is 1750 kilometers.
Initial reports indicate that a fire broke out in the technology area of the refinery.
The refinery, part of PAO "Lukoil", processes approximately 4.2 million tons of oil annually, producing gasoline, diesel fuel, and heavy fuel oil. It also supports the Russian army. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed.
