Russian forces have targeted railway infrastructure in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions. Notably, an attack on a passenger depot in Sumy has been reported. According to the press service of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia", the assault resulted in damage and destruction of utility buildings and rolling stock.
To ensure passenger transport for train No. 779/780 Sumy — Kyiv, substitute carriages were deployed, and the train departed on schedule.
Additionally, railway infrastructure in Lozova has been damaged, causing train No. 228/227 Husiaryvka — Ivano-Frankivsk to follow a modified route.
"We are doing everything possible to minimize the train's delay from the schedule," representatives of "Ukrzaliznytsia" stated.
Preliminary reports indicate that no employees of "Ukrzaliznytsia" were harmed.
It is worth noting that as a result of a drone attack in Sumy, eleven people were injured, four of whom were children.
