The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has released video footage of the elimination of Russian army commander Vasiliy Marzoev in the Vasylivka district of the Zaporizhia region, son of Lieutenant General Arkadiy Marzoev, who was involved in committing war crimes against Ukrainians in Kherson. This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate on its Telegram channel.

On October 15, 2025, fighters from the combined drone unit of the Active Operations Department of the GUR discovered the position of Russian invaders' drone operators during aerial reconnaissance in the Zaporizhia direction.

“Based on the coordinates obtained by the scouts, a guided aerial bomb was successfully launched to eliminate the Russian killers. At the time of the strike, Moscow lieutenant Vasiliy Marzoev, commander of the platoon of the 108th Airborne Assault Regiment of the 7th Air Assault Division of the Russian occupation army, was at the position,” the GUR stated.

The video shows exclusive footage of the destruction of Marzoev and other Russian invaders.

The GUR noted that the eliminated Marzoev is the son of Lieutenant General Arkadiy Marzoev, commander of the 18th Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces, who is also implicated in war crimes against civilian Ukrainians in Kherson.

We remind you that the Security Service of Ukraine has documented the crimes of five more high-ranking officers of the Russian Armed Forces involved in the massive shelling of the liberated part of the Kherson region, including the commander of the 22nd Army Corps of the Coastal Troops of the Black Sea Fleet, Lieutenant General Arkadiy Marzoev.
