The number of people injured due to the Russian shelling in Kyiv has increased to 22. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine via Telegram.
"As a result of the Russian attack, two individuals have died: a man and a woman born in 1956 and 1959. A total of 22 people were injured, including 4 children," the rescuers reported.
The attack affected the Darnytskyi, Desnyanskyi, Dniprovskyi, Holosiivskyi, Pecherskyi, and Solomianskyi districts of the capital; at least ten residential buildings were damaged.
Currently, firefighters are working to extinguish a blaze in the Dniprovskyi district, where the fire has been localized.
Psychologists from the Kyiv Emergency Service have provided assistance to 31 individuals. More than 340 rescuers and 83 units of emergency service equipment are involved in addressing the aftermath of the attack.
