Defensive Actions: Ukrainian Air Defense Responds to Attacks

The Ukrainian air defense forces have effectively neutralized 38 out of 60 enemy drones. This information was shared by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
Starting from the evening of Sunday, October 19, Russian forces launched an attack with three "Iskander-M/KN-23" ballistic missiles from occupied Crimea and 60 strike UAVs of various types, including Shahed and "Gerbera", from the directions of: Milleryovo, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), Chauda (Crimea). About 40 of them were Shahed-type drones.
The aerial assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire support groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
As of 09:00 on Monday, October 20, air defense had downed 38 UAVs in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Hits were recorded from three ballistic missiles and 20 strike UAVs on 12 locations. The attack continues, and several enemy drones remain in the airspace.
