In the past day, Russian troops have targeted the city of Kharkiv and eight towns in the region with various types of weaponry, leading to injuries of 62 civilians. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv OVA, Oleg Synegubov, via Telegram.
“During the last day, Kharkiv and 8 towns in the region suffered enemy strikes, resulting in 62 people being injured,” Synegubov informed.
Among the injured in Kharkiv are men aged 79 and 68, women aged 75, 73, 44, 69, and 74, as well as 50 hospital patients who suffered acute stress reactions; in Kupiansk, three women aged 78, 58, and 71, and two men aged 57 and 72 were among the casualties.
The Russians attacked the Kyiv district of Kharkiv with drones, while the Saltiv district was hit by two KAB bombs.
The head of the OVA noted that following the enemy shelling, electricity supply was restored for all consumers in the city.
Synegubov specified that various types of weaponry were used by the Russian military across the region, including 2 KAB bombs, 17 Geran-2 drones, and 4 FPV drones.
As a result of the shelling, civilian infrastructure was damaged and destroyed.
In particular, in Kharkiv, a dormitory, an enterprise, an educational institution, a hospital building, an economic facility, two non-residential buildings, the power grid, and 24 vehicles were damaged.
In the Kupiansk district, a car (village of Blahodativka), a private house (city of Kupiansk), two private houses, and two economic facilities (village of Velykyi Burluk) were damaged.
In the Kharkiv district, a private house (village of Kozacha Lopan) was also affected.
The transit evacuation point in Lozova received 65 people in one day, with 43 individuals remaining. A total of 7,361 people have been registered since the point began operating.
