Air Defense Triumph: 320 Targets Eliminated

The efforts of the Air Force resulted in the neutralization of 320 out of 416 aerial threats launched by Russia since the evening of October 2. This includes 303 drones, 12 Iskander-K cruise missiles, and five X-59/69 guided missiles.

On the night of October 3, the enemy conducted a combined strike on Ukraine, utilizing attack drones and various types of missiles.

Specifically, Russia launched:

  • 381 strike drones of the Shahed and Gerbera types from Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Orel, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk;
  • Seven Iskander-M ballistic missiles;
  • 21 Iskander-K cruise missiles;
  • Seven guided missiles X-59/69.

The primary targets were critical infrastructure facilities in the Kharkiv and Poltava regions.

Damage was also inflicted on the Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, and Kyiv regions.

The attacks were repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups.

As of 10:00, air defense had downed 320 targets:

  • 303 enemy drones;
  • 12 cruise missiles;
  • Five X-59/69 missiles.

Reports indicate hits from 18 missiles and 78 drones at 15 locations, with debris found at six sites.
