The Ukrainian Armed Forces effectively neutralized 33 of the 54 attacking drones used by the Russian army in their assault on Ukraine on the evening of September 20.

Starting from 8 PM on Saturday, September 20, the aggressors launched 54 drones, including Shahed and "Gerbera" models, from the regions of Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, and Primorsk-Akhtarsk (Russia), approximately 30 of which were Shahed drones. The air defense was carried out by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire support groups, and other defense forces of Ukraine.
As of 9 AM on Sunday, September 20, preliminary data indicates that air defense shot down 33 drones, including Shahed, "Gerbera" and other types, in the northern, eastern, and central parts of the country. Hits were recorded from 21 drones across 8 different locations.
