The Ukrainian Armed Forces' drone units targeted oil refineries in Russia, specifically in Saratov and Novokuybyshevsk.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their Facebook page.

In the night of September 20, UAF drone units, in collaboration with other defense forces, struck the Saratov oil refinery, which accounts for approximately 2.54% of Russia's total oil refining capacity.

Explosions and a significant fire were confirmed in the target area. Final results are still being verified.

On the same day, UAF drone units also targeted the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery, which processes over 8.8 million tons of oil annually.

Preliminary reports indicate explosions and fires at the site. Further details are being clarified.

Additionally, the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine struck a major transport infrastructure facility, specifically the "Samara" linear production dispatch station.

This station is responsible for mixing high- and low-sulfur oil from various fields to create the Urals export oil grade, which accounts for up to 50% of Russia's total oil exports.

The results of the strikes are still being confirmed.

All affected facilities play a crucial role in supporting the Russian Armed Forces.

The Ukrainian defense forces are systematically implementing measures aimed at diminishing the military-economic capabilities of the aggressor state, particularly through disrupting Russia's oil refining logistics.
