As a result of coordinated actions by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard, the settlement of Pankivka and surrounding areas in the Donetsk region have been liberated from Russian forces.
This was reported by the press service of the 1st Corps of the National Guard "Azov" on Telegram.
Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces operating in the operational zone of the 1st Corps of the National Guard "Azov" continue the liberation of territories in the Dobropillya direction.
"Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the Armed Forces and the National Guard, the settlement of Pankivka and adjacent areas have been cleared from the enemy," the statement said.
Military personnel noted that Russian forces are continuing to increase their troop presence.
In order to enhance their offensive capabilities, the Russian command has redeployed additional reserves consisting of four infantry brigades and one marine regiment to the area of responsibility of the 1st Corps of the National Guard "Azov".
Ukrainian Defense Forces are making every effort to halt the enemy's advance and prevent a breach of defense.
