On the night of September 5 (from 18:00 on September 4), the enemy launched 157 Shahed-type drones and various imitators from different directions, including Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Oryol, Primorsk-Akhtarsk, and 6 S-300 surface-to-air missiles from Kursk region.

The aviation and air defense forces, along with electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups, actively repelled the assault.

According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, Ukrainian air defense shot down 121 enemy drones of various types in the northern and eastern regions of the country.

There were reports of 7 missiles and 35 drones striking 10 locations. One enemy drone remained airborne.
