The well-known Bayraktar plant in Kyiv was struck on the night of August 28. This was reported by Igor Zinkevych, co-founder of the NGO "Varta-1" and a member of the Lviv City Council.
According to him, two hits were recorded, resulting in serious damage to the production facilities. However, the exact extent of the damage is currently unknown.
"Despite the ongoing war and previous attacks, the company continued to invest tens of millions of its own funds, train personnel, and prepare production. Most facilities were nearly ready, and the main staff had completed their training," Zinkevych stated.
He also emphasized that this was the fourth strike on the plant in the past six months.
It is worth noting that during the massive Russian attack on the night of August 28 in the Kyiv region, 70 enemy drones were shot down, marking a record for interceptor drone usage.
