Thanks to the air defense forces, 230 drones, two "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles, and four X-101 cruise missiles were eliminated.

According to Ukrinform, this information was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.

Since 8:00 PM on Monday, August 18, Russian forces have attacked Ukraine with 280 air assault means:

• 270 strike drones of the Shahed type and various imitation drones from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk;
• five "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles from the Rostov and Voronezh regions, as well as from temporarily occupied Crimea;
• five X-101 cruise missiles launched from strategic aviation aircraft over the Caspian Sea area.

The air assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's defense forces.

As of 9:00 AM on Tuesday, August 19, preliminary data indicates that air defense has intercepted/suppressed 236 aerial targets:

• 230 Shahed-type drones and various imitation drones;
• two "Iskander-M" missiles;
• four X-101 cruise missiles.

Confirmed hits included four missiles and 40 drones at 16 locations, with debris from intercepted targets falling in three areas.
