The operational-strategic group of troops “Khortytsia” has denied the claims about the complete capture of Chasiv Yar by Russian military forces, as disseminated by Russian sources.

This information was shared via the official Telegram channel of the “Khortytsia” group.

“Over three days — July 27, 28, and 29 — the enemy conducted demonstrative actions in various locations of Chasiv Yar, risking their lives for a promised short vacation for participating in such “missions,” the statement reads.

Specifically, Russian invaders were seen raising their flags near a factory that has long been out of Ukrainian control, as well as in the temporarily occupied area of the Northern district.

Before raising the flag in the Shevchenko area, the Russians shelled the positions of our Defense Forces, likely filming the actions for internal propaganda.

On July 30, from 5:00 to 9:00 AM, Russian troops attempted to storm the positions of the Defense Forces with two groups of six soldiers.

During the day, to support the assault, the invaders deployed two armored vehicles.

"The attempt was a failure — the assault group, which included at least three women, was halted on the eastern outskirts of Chasiv Yar, in the Northern area,” noted the OSUV "Khortytsia."

Both armored vehicles were destroyed, and the personnel trying to hide in nearby buildings suffered significant losses.

The OSUV “Khortytsia” states that despite Russian information manipulation, Chasiv Yar remains under the control of the 11th Army Corps, particularly the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Daniel of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which continues to hold the city despite constant enemy attempts to advance.
