Since the evening of July 28, Ukraine has faced renewed assaults from Russian forces, which launched 2 ballistic missiles of the "Iskander-M" type and 37 Shahed drones, along with other UAVs. 32 of these drones were neutralized, but unfortunately, there were some hits.

This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.

According to the Air Forces: "As of 9:00, our air defense has shot down 32 enemy Shahed drones (and other UAVs) in the northern and eastern regions."

There were confirmed hits from 5 UAVs and 2 missiles across 3 different locations, with debris landing in 2 of them.

The invaders launched the missiles from the Rostov region of Russia and the temporarily occupied Crimea, while drones were sent from the directions of the Russian cities of Orel and Kursk, as well as from Hvardiyiske in Crimea.

Ukrainian defense forces actively repelled the air assault with aviation, anti-aircraft troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups.
