Explosion in Kyiv: Casualties Reported

An explosion occurred in the Darnytsia district of Kyiv, damaging the windows of a high-rise building from the 6th to the 11th floor. Five individuals sustained shrapnel injuries, including a two-year-old girl.

The National Police reported this on their Facebook page.

“The blast wave shattered the windows of the high-rise building, resulting in five people suffering from shrapnel wounds. Among the injured is a toddler with cuts on her feet. The victims have been hospitalized,” the statement read.

Several cars parked in the courtyard of the building were also damaged.

Police investigative teams and explosives experts are currently working at the scene. Authorities are documenting yet another act of aggression.
