As a result of a Russian military strike on a bus in the Sumy region, at least three people have died, and 20 others have been injured.
This information was shared by Oleg Hryhorov, the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, on Telegram.
“Around 16:30, Russian forces launched a drone strike on a bus carrying civilians in the vicinity of the village of Ivlozhanske in the Yunakivka community. Preliminary reports indicate that three individuals have lost their lives. Additionally, five others have sustained injuries and are receiving medical attention,” the post states.
The injured and other passengers have been evacuated to a safe area, Hryhorov added.
Meanwhile, the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office confirmed via Telegram that 20 people were injured due to this bus attack.
“According to the investigation, on July 27, 2025, at approximately 16:30, the enemy targeted a passenger bus with civilians traveling through the territory of the Yunakivka community in the Sumy district. Three women aged 66, 74, and 78 were killed in the drone attack,” the post reads.
