Increased Attacks in Sumy Region: Casualties and Damage

Over the past day, Russian forces executed nearly 70 attacks on 33 localities across 13 communities in the Sumy region. Four individuals were injured, and two lost their lives due to a mine explosion.

This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration via Telegram, as conveyed by Ukrinform.

“The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts. The enemy actively used guided bombs, with up to 10 drops of VOG from drones, and 20 KAB strikes,” the statement said.

A woman born in 1977 was injured in the Glukhov community as a result of a drone strike. In the Sumy community, three civilians were injured due to a drone attack. All were taken to hospitals where doctors are conducting examinations and providing necessary assistance. One of the injured, a 43-year-old man, is in moderate condition.

In the Esman community, two men aged 56 and 50 died from a mine explosion.

The enemy also carried out strikes with FPV drones over the Sumy region, causing damage and destruction to civilian infrastructure.

In the Glukhov community, non-residential buildings, windows in the administrative building of the market, civilian infrastructure objects, and a private car were damaged. In the Sumy community, civilian infrastructure objects, administrative premises, and non-residential buildings were affected.

In the Bilopillya community, a civilian infrastructure object was damaged. In the Putivl community, a civilian infrastructure object, non-residential premises, private property, and a car were also damaged.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russians struck the Sumy community, resulting in three injuries.
