Odesa faced another devastating night as the enemy launched a large-scale drone attack on the city.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
The most affected was a 9-story building, with apartments on the 5th to 8th floors destroyed, and fires breaking out on the 5th and 6th floors of one entrance.
Five individuals were rescued from blocked apartments, and 33 residents were evacuated.
Psychologists from the State Emergency Service and the National Police provided support to the locals.
Search dogs were deployed at the site to look for potential victims.
Debris removal is complicated by the risk of structural collapse, as indicated by a special seismographic device monitoring the movement of the damaged building elements.
A Resilience Point was set up by the State Emergency Service near the building.
Rescue operations are ongoing.
Additionally, rescuers addressed the aftermath of the attack at other locations where fires occurred in private homes and at gas stations.
According to preliminary information, 3 people were injured.
A total of 26 units of equipment and 112 rescuers from the State Emergency Service were involved.
