Over the past week, Russian forces have launched attacks on Ukraine using more than 1800 drones, 1200 aerial bombs, and 83 missiles of various types.

This information was shared by President Volodymyr Zelensky on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"For seven days of large-scale Russian strikes on Ukraine: over 1800 drones, more than 1200 guided aerial bombs, and 83 missiles. The Russians are intensifying terror against cities and communities to instill fear among our people," the President stated.

Zelensky emphasized that despite Moscow's plans, the air defense forces are showing good results.

"Interceptor drones are performing particularly well – hundreds of Russian-Iranian 'Shaheds' have been shot down this week," he added.

According to the President, every meeting with partners this week focused on scaling up this technology.

Zelensky thanked everyone willing to invest in life protection and the soldiers who safeguard Ukrainian skies.

The head of state highlighted: "Shaheds" are one of Russia's methods to prolong the war. We must neutralize this threat for diplomacy to work faster.

He expressed hope for the fulfillment of all agreements that will strengthen Ukraine's defense, as well as for strong decisions from the USA, Europe, the G7 countries, and all partners.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of July 12, cities across Ukraine were under Russian attack. The Russians launched 26 cruise missiles and 597 drones.
