Chernivtsi region: during the night, the enemy carried out an attack on the city of Chernivtsi and its surroundings.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

On July 12, as a result of the hostile assault, fires broke out simultaneously at three locations in the city. All fires have been extinguished by rescuers. Damages include administrative buildings, residential homes, two non-operational structures, and vehicles.

In the residential sector, rescuers evacuated residents from the buildings, provided first aid to the injured, and handed them over to medical personnel for further hospitalization. Unfortunately, two people died, four were seriously injured, and ten sustained minor injuries.

A residential building and a vehicle were damaged in the Chernivtsi district.

A headquarters has been established at the scene to manage the aftermath of the attack, with psychologists from the emergency services on site.
