Today, June 22, the enemy launched a missile strike on a training site of one of the mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where soldiers were conducting exercises.

This was reported by the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Thanks to timely safety measures implemented upon receiving the air raid alert, numerous personnel casualties were avoided. Unfortunately, there are fatalities and injuries. All affected individuals are receiving necessary medical assistance at healthcare facilities.

We express our heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of the fallen soldiers.

A special commission has been established by the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to thoroughly investigate the circumstances of the incident. Law enforcement agencies are also working at the scene.

Additionally, further safety measures are being taken to protect the lives and health of military personnel in case of repeated missile and air strikes by the aggressor state.
