A significant attack overnight in Kyiv has caused damage to the red line of the metro, affecting the tracks and electrical cables between the "Darnytsia" and "Left Bank" stations.

Residents are warned that trains will only operate between the "Akademmistechko" and "Arsenalna" stations with an approximate interval of 6 minutes.

The surface entrances at the "Dnipro" and "Lisova" stations are temporarily closed for entry and exit.

All necessary specialists are on site, focusing on restoring the tracks and metro networks. The estimated time for repairs is about one day.

Until the tracks are fully restored, only those trains that were in night storage at the terminal stations will be used for passenger transport.

It is reported that due to the damage on the red line between the "Lisova" and "Arsenalna" stations, a duplicate bus route No. 1M has been organized.
