Tragic Loss of Rescuers Amid Enemy Strikes

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, reported tragic losses among rescuers due to enemy shelling.

Last night, rockets and drones targeted civilian facilities and critical infrastructure. Emergency services, including the State Emergency Service and police, responded swiftly to calls for help. Unfortunately, we have once again lost heroes from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In Kyiv, three rescuers from the State Emergency Service were killed during the efforts to mitigate the consequences of enemy attacks. They were working under fire to assist the public. Nine more rescuers sustained injuries, some critically, and doctors are fighting for their lives.

Additionally, five rescuers were injured while extinguishing a fire in Ternopil region. All injured personnel are receiving medical attention.

We honor the memory of our fallen heroes, who sacrificed their lives for the sake of saving others. True to their oath, they will remain in our hearts.

Wishing a speedy recovery to all the injured.
