On Monday, a drone operated by enemy forces attacked a vehicle belonging to energy workers in the Sumy region, killing the driver and injuring three others.
This information was confirmed by Oleg Grygorov, the head of the Sumy Regional Administration, via his Facebook post, along with updates from the Sumy City Council.
Grygorov's statement: "An enemy UAV struck the vehicle of energy workers in the Sumy community area. Preliminary reports indicate one fatality."
Details: Reports indicate that three additional individuals were injured. The circumstances surrounding the attack are being investigated.
The Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office specified that the attack occurred around 10:30 AM on a vehicle belonging to JSC "Sumyoblenergo" while it was traveling in the Sumy community area. The deceased was a 44-year-old driver, and three employees were injured.
Rescue teams are currently working at the scene.
