On Sunday, May 12, Russian forces targeted Kherson with artillery strikes, impacting the city and the nearby settlement of Bilozirka. As a result, two women and one man were injured.

Doctors treated a 76-year-old woman who suffered severe injuries, including blast and cranial trauma, as well as shrapnel wounds to her back and thigh.
Another victim, a 57-year-old resident, sustained a blast injury and a broken arm. She received initial medical treatment and will continue her recovery on an outpatient basis.
The shelling caused damage to a residential building, with shattered windows and destroyed balconies.
