For over a day, Russian troops targeted one of the vital energy facilities in the Kherson region until it was destroyed, reported the head of OVA Oleksandr Prokudin.

Direct speech from the regional leader: "The Russians have again cynically violated agreements and for more than a day have been relentlessly striking one of the key facilities of our energy infrastructure. This facility provides electricity to the city, and the occupiers have been mercilessly attacking it with artillery and drones. UAV attacks are ongoing".

Details: He added that Ukrainian soldiers fought throughout the night to repel enemy strikes, but "by morning, the Russians achieved their goal, destroying the energy facility".

Currently, according to Prokudin, energy workers are doing everything possible to stabilize the energy situation in the city. 

"I urge everyone to use electricity as sparingly as possible. Forced outages may occur in the near future", – the regional leader stated.
