The company "Ukrenergo" has assured the public of the stability of electricity supply.

This information was confirmed by the company's press service.

"Recently, some media and Telegram channels have started publishing news with sensational headlines about potential outages. We want to emphasize that this information is inaccurate. No restrictions are currently in effect," the statement reads.

However, as noted by Ukrenergo, there is indeed a need for rational electricity consumption due to ongoing repair works on energy facilities after the Russian attacks. Simultaneously, with the drop in temperature across Ukraine, electricity consumption has significantly increased, as more people are using heating devices.

Additionally, due to the end of the heating season, some generation facilities that cannot operate independently of thermal energy have ceased operations since last week.

Moreover, the cloudy weather over parts of Ukraine hampers the efficiency of solar power plants.

Therefore, Ukrenergo calls for a reduction in the use of high-powered electrical appliances and advises against turning on several such devices simultaneously from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Due to a significant drop in temperature, electricity consumption as of the morning of April 7 exceeded the level of the previous working day by 16%.

On April 8, electricity consumption continued to remain high. As of 9:30 AM, the level of electricity consumption was 2.3% higher than at the same time the previous day.
