On August 23, around 4:00 PM, police received a report from a witness that a 6-year-old girl was found unconscious in a house with a hand injury. Investigators determined that a 7-year-old boy was playing with the girl in the house and accidentally discharged his father's hunting rifle, causing the girl's injuries that led to her death.

The boy's father was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

Authorities from the Boryspil District Police Department have opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. A case has also been initiated against the boy's father for gross neglect of parental duties and improper storage of firearms (Articles 166, 264 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Currently, investigative actions are ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
