Denys Shmyhal, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, has announced his resignation.

This news was shared on the official Telegram channel of the Prime Minister.

Quote: "I am grateful to our defenders who stand on the front lines to protect our country! Thank you to President Volodymyr Zelensky for your trust! Thanks to the whole team for their tireless efforts for our state!".

It is important to note that the resignation of the Prime Minister automatically leads to the dismissal of the entire government. Article 10 of the law on martial law states that the powers of the Cabinet of Ministers cannot be terminated during a state of martial law.

Notably, President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with Deputy Prime Ministers Yuliya Svyrydenko and Mykhailo Fedorov, where they outlined tasks for the Cabinet of Ministers for the next six months.
