On July 16 at 3:00 PM, the War Museum in Kyiv will host an event dedicated to the release of the social comic magazine "Inker", aimed at showcasing the Ukrainian fight for freedom through comic storytelling.

Venue: Exhibition space "…beyond the borders of their homeland" at the main building of the War Museum.

Participants include:

• CEO of "Inker" Artem Ipatov,
• journalist and co-author Diana Lanovets,
• artist Iryna Kostiсhina.

The meeting will be moderated by Roman Kabachiy, senior researcher at the War Museum.

During the discussion, representatives of the "Inker" magazine will answer how they choose topics for coverage and how the preparation of the next issue takes place. Physical copies of the magazine will also be donated to the War Museum's Fund and library.

The magazine was established in 2022 and has released nine issues, each with four comics (totaling 36 stories):

• "Mariupol",
• "Unbreakable. Civilians in War",
• "Azovstal",
• "Partisans",
• "Captives",
• "Love in War",
• "Evacuation",
• "Women in War",
• "Territorial Defense" and two special printed issues: "24/02" and "Through the Eyes of a Journalist" (each featuring 4 personal stories).

Notable stories include those of Vasylysa Stepanenko, co-author of the documentary "20 Days in Mariupol", military photojournalist Yefrem Lukatsky, Kherson journalist Oleg Baturin, who experienced Russian captivity, and Romani activist and historian Yanush Panchenko, who lived through the occupation of Kakhovka.
