Boris Grinchenko Kyiv University has shown remarkable progress, climbing 23 positions in the annual academic ranking "Top-200 Ukraine," as reported by the KCSA press service.

The university currently holds the 32nd position. The top three positions are occupied by Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Lviv Polytechnic National University, and Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

This ranking is compiled by the Euroeducation International Project Center in partnership with the IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence. It is considered one of the most significant tools for assessing the performance of Ukrainian universities. Its annual publication shapes the perception of the quality of educational, scientific, and innovative activities, as well as their competitiveness on both national and international levels.

The ranking methodology is based on a comprehensive analysis of the main functions of higher education institutions. Specifically, it evaluates academic success, scientific productivity, innovation activity levels, social impact, international collaboration, digitalization, and the implementation of modern technologies, including artificial intelligence. Analytical data from leading international platforms, such as SCImago Institutions Rankings, are also considered.

"The progress of Boris Grinchenko Kyiv University in 2025 confirms the effectiveness of the implemented development strategy and the high professionalism of the academic staff," the report states.

The university has achieved the following metrics:

• climbed 23 positions in the overall ranking;
• increased its total ranking score by 6 points;
• rose 14 positions in the Scopus database, indicating a boost in publication activity and improved quality of research;
• improved its position in the international THE University Impact Rankings 2025.

According to the KCSA press service, the improvement in prestigious rankings indicates the university's stable growth and its confident advancement towards becoming a modern, innovative, and competitive educational center.
