Every drop of blood is a priceless gift. In Kyiv, those who tirelessly support the donation movement and help save hundreds of lives were honored.

On the eve of World Blood Donor Day, June 13, an event was held in Kyiv to honor the most active donors of the capital. They were presented with certificates of appreciation from Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko for their dedication and contribution to saving human lives.

As noted by Kyiv City Council member and head of the permanent commission on local self-government and external relations, Yuliia Yarmolenko, donation is an example of true civic duty, humanity, and care for others.

During the event, organizations that actively promote the culture of donation in Kyiv were also recognized. A concert program was organized for guests and participants, uniting everyone around the idea of help and life.
