The prize is awarded annually to authors of new original journalistic works that contribute to the preservation of the historical memory of the people and their cultural identity.
The State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine announces the acceptance of journalistic works for the VYacheslav Chornovil Prize for excellence in journalism.
This prize is awarded to authors of new original publications that help affirm the historical memory and national consciousness of the people. Works by individual authors or teams of up to five people, published within the last three years but no later than six months before submission, are eligible for the competition.
To participate, applications must be submitted by August 10, 2025, including a short description of the work and its author, a copy of the work (electronic version or link to the publication), proof of publication in media, and a copy of the passport (for teams — copies of all members' passports).
Documents should be sent to: 01 001, Kyiv, Pryorizna St., 2, State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine, marked "For the VYacheslav Chornovil Prize for the best journalistic work".
To facilitate the processing of submitted documents and for remote familiarization of committee members with the competition works, applications in Word format and signed in PDF format, as well as electronic versions of the works, should be sent to the email address irina@comin.gov.ua.
