SkyUp Resumes Flights: New Opportunities for Travelers

The Ukrainian airline SkyUp has resumed regular flights for the first time since the large-scale invasion began.

This was announced by SkyUp’s press service, as reported by LIGA.net.

On April 18, the first flights departed from Chisinau, where the airline is based, heading to Paris and Lisbon, while the airspace remains closed.

SkyUp's flight program includes regular routes from Chisinau to 13 cities in Europe: Paris, Lisbon, Nice, Barcelona, Alicante, Palma de Mallorca, Larnaca, Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Berlin, Prague, and Stockholm.

SkyUp selected Chisinau as its base due to its proximity to Ukraine, making it a logistically convenient and reliable choice for organizing international routes.

As a reminder:

In December 2024, SkyUp Airlines announced the launch of direct regular flights from Chisinau for Ukrainians to popular European destinations.
